If I had a hammer,
oh, what a world I would build.
One free of foolhardy machinations
and sculpted of ideals in their purest form.
A roof that sheltered all
with a door that was always open,
the hinges creaking from non-use.
Windows that would never break
from stones or insults,
that would weather all storms —
both man-made and of God.
